The Uganda gorilla trek safari takes you the Kibale forest a home to 13 primates and birds which include the chimps for chimpanzee trekking, white and black Columbus, vervet monkey, manageably, sitatungas, rare shoe bills found at the Bigodi walking trail. Visit to the queen Elizabeth national park famously known for the tree climbing lions in Africa, game drive for wildlife viewing, boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which connects the Ramsar Lake George to Lake Edward and end the trip with the visit to Bwindi forest for Uganda gorilla trek in their mist and the Lake Mburo where you can spot the rare wildlife like the zebras, elands and impalas!

Day 1: Entebbe-Kibale National Park

Have breakfast; thereafter transfer to Kibale National Park, en-route lunch at the Mountain of the Moon. This park hosts more than 13 primate species, 340 species of Birds, 27 species of Frogs and toads ,14 species of snakes, ancient trees up to 55 meters in height, Kibale forest is a wonderful place to experience the extra ordinary diversity of life in a tropical rainforest. Evening visit to some of the undulating land forms formed by the beautiful crater lakes. Dinner and overnight at the Kyaninga lodge/Ndali lodge/Kibale safari lodge/Kibale primate cottages/Kibale forest camp. Meal plan: H/B

Day 2: Chimp Tracking & Bigodi walk

Have breakfast, head to the park headquarters, for briefing and after depart for the chimpanzee tracking forest walk. Expect to find families of chimpanzees and other primates such as red vervet, white and black Columbus monkeys, Blue monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys and grey cheeked Mangabey chattering and swinging through the ancient forest trees. Return to lodge for lunch and after in the afternoon visit the Bigodi wetland for foot safari to spot wildlife like Sitatungas, birds the rare shoe bill, for your evening spend it with the Kibale forest rural environmental development associations (KFRED). Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B

Day3: Kibale-Queen Elizabeth National Park

Breakfast, embark our truck drive to Mweya through crater lakes region, take en-route game drive as you enter the park and check in at Mweya lodge/Katara lodge/Enganzi lodge/Bush lodge. Lunch and thereafter prepare to go for the boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel to view the wildlife from close quarters as they cool off along the shores of the Channel that connects the Ramsar site Lakes George to Lake Edwards. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B

Day4:- Game drive-Bwindi Gorilla Park

Dawn game drive at the Kasenyi plains in search for wildlife which includes Buffalos, Kobs, Warthogs, Elephants, Waterbucks, Lions, Hyenas, and if you are lucky leopards among others. After the game drive that takes about 3-4 hours, return to lodge for breakfast and thereafter drive to Bwindi through Ishasha sector where tree climbing lions can be seen according to the luck of the day, with lunch en-route (packed) and drive to Bwindi for dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest camp/Buhoma lodge/Mahogany springs/Buhoma community Rest Camp. Day5: Uganda gorilla trek

Have breakfast, we shall have a briefing by the park rangers about gorilla tracking rules prior to our transfer to the impenetrable forest. We shall go with our packed lunch boxes. The rainforest is spectacular as it offers dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape. The time taken and terrain varies according to the movements of these marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time with and observing the gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure. On finding the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them and have a chance of taking some pictures. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B

Day6: Bwindi-Lake Bunyonyi

Breakfast, thereafter drive to Lake Bunyonyi arriving in the afternoon and check in for lunch at Bunyonyi resort/Heritage lodge/Jajama safari lodge, and relax a bit and later in the afternoon go for a boat cruise along the lake. In this boat ride we can visit some of the lakes 80 beautiful dotted islands where we can see a lot of water birds and see some traditional dancers and pygmies. Return to lodge for dinner and over night, Meal plan: F/B

Day7: Lake Bunyonyi-Lake Mburo National Park

Breakfast, after embark our truck and drive to Lake Mburo National Park arriving in the afternoon with lunch en-route and check in at Mihingo lodge/Mantana camp/Rwakobo rock lodge/Arcadia cottages/Mburo safari lodge. Then later in the afternoon go for the boat cruise on Lake, this can take about one and half hours. Return to the lodge for dinner and over night. Meal plan: F/B

Day8: Lake Mburo National Park-Kampala

Dawn game drive to search of wildlife that includes, Buffaloes, Zebras, Warthogs, Impalas, Eland (Africa’s biggest antelope) Topis, Bushbucks, Reedbucks, Waterbucks and leopards among others. This normally takes about two hours according to how much you use on the walk and the interest you have in what you see. This one of the best walks we have or we go for the early morning game drive in search for wildlife that includes waterbucks, buffaloes, zebras, impala, reedbucks, bush pigs, topis, oribi, baboons, warthogs, hippos, leopards and a number of bird species and hyenas among others. This normally takes us about 3-4 hours then after the drive back to Kampala with lunch en-route and stop at the equator for photographs, snacks and shop curious to take home after drive straight to your lodge in Kampala or to the airport for your return flight.
