The Uganda gorilla trek, unforgettable adventurous experience takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a home to half of the world’s population of Mountain gorillas. It is indeed a great experience to visit these enormously powerful and gentle creatures in their mist. The park has 8 habituated gorilla groups which include: Mubare, Habinyanja, Rushegura, Mshaya, Busingye, Oruzogo, Nshongi and Nkuringo!

Day 1: Kampala-Bwindi Gorilla Park
Have breakfast, meet our guide and thereafter transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest. En-route stop at the equator for photographs, snacks and informative talk. Lunch en-route, after drive to the park with scenic view of undulating landforms, vegetation, Ankole long horned cattle and banana plantations. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla forest camp/Mahogany springs/Buhoma lodge/Gorilla Resort/Buhoma Rest camp. Meal plan: H/B

Day 2: Uganda Gorilla trek

Have breakfast, we shall have a briefing by the park rangers about gorilla tracking rules prior to our transfer to the impenetrable forest. We shall go with our packed lunch boxes. The rainforest is spectacular as it offers dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape. The time taken and terrain varies according to the movements of these marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time with and observing the gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure. On finding the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them and have a chance of taking some pictures. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B

Day3: Bwindi-Queen Elizabeth National Park

Breakfast, with the local guide take community walk, return to lodge for lunch and thereafter drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Ishasha sector famous for the tree climbing lions, spend time looking for them in them resting in the branches of the fig trees and spot other wildlife like the elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, leopards, water and bush backs, topi, oribi and birds. Dinner and overnight at Ishasha wilderness camp/Ntungwe camp/Mweya lodge/Katara lodge/Enganzi lodge/Bush lodge/Ihamba lodge. Meal plan: F/B

Day 4: Game drive & Boat ride

After breakfast go for an early morning game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens mile in the park and expect to see lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mongoose, waterbucks, Kobs and, if lucky, the leopard, plus a lot of small animals and birds. Return to the lodge for lunch and after spend an evening enjoying the boat cruise along the channel which connects the Ramsar Lake George to Lake Edward, this cruise act as panoramic platform for wildlife and bird viewing along the shores of Kazinga channel. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B

Day5: Kyambura gorge chimp walk-Kibale forest

Have breakfast, drive to Kyambura gorge for the unforgettable chimpanzee walk in the gorge. The gorge also provide other primates and birds like the white and black Columbus, vervet monkeys, warbler, Turaco, casket horn bills. Return to lodge for lunch and after embark our safari vehicle drive back to Kibale forest, with scenic panoramic view of mountain of the moon. Dinner and overnight at Kyaninga lodge/Ndali lodge/Kibale safari lodge/Kibale primate cottages/Mountain of the moon. Meal plan: H/B

Day6: Kibale Chimp Trekking-Kampala

Have breakfast, head to the park headquarters, for briefing and after depart for the chimpanzee tracking forest walk. Expect to find families of chimpanzees and other primates such as red vervet, white and black Columbus monkeys, Blue monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys and grey cheeked Mangabey chattering and swinging through the ancient forest trees. Return to lodge for lunch and after. In the afternoon, immediate transfer back to Kampala or a visit to the Kasenda crater lakes prior to return in Kampala. End of services, Meal plan: H/B
