3 Days Uganda Chimpanzee Tracking Safari

Kibale National Park is home to the closest relatives to man, the chimpanzees. The forest also host other primates like white and black Columbus, vervet monkey, manageably. The different primates will definitely crown your visit to this park. The Park also hosts one of the world’s densest concentrations of volcanic crater lakes. The activities to encounter include the chimpanzee trekking, Bigodi walk as you search for the unforgettable rare shoe bills and sitatungas!

Day 1: Entebbe-Kibale National Park

Have breakfast; thereafter transfer to Kibale National Park, en-route lunch at the Mountain of the Moon. This park hosts more than 13 primate species, 340 species of Birds, 27 species of Frogs and toads ,14 species of snakes, ancient trees up to 55 meters in height, Kibale forest is a wonderful place to experience the extra ordinary diversity of life in a tropical rainforest. Evening visit to some of the undulating land forms formed by the beautiful crater lakes. Dinner and overnight at the Kyaninga lodge/Ndali lodge/Kibale safari lodge/Kibale primate cottages/Kibale forest camp. Meal plan: H/B

Day 2: Chimp Tracking & Bigodi walk

Have breakfast, head to the park headquarters, for briefing and after depart for the chimpanzee tracking forest walk. Expect to find families of chimpanzees and other primates such as red vervet, white and black Columbus monkeys, Blue monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys and grey cheeked Mangabey chattering and swinging through the ancient forest trees. Return to lodge for lunch and after in the afternoon visit the Bigodi wetland for foot safari to spot wildlife like Sitatungas, birds the rare shoe bill, for your evening spend it with the Kibale forest rural environmental development associations (KFRED). Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: F/B

Day 3: Cultural visit-Kampala

Have breakfast, after visit to the cultural sites like Nyakasura caves, lunch after transfer back to Kampala or a visit to the Kasenda crater lakes prior to return in Kampala. End of services, Meal plan: H/B
